You love being a clinician. Plus, you regularly help your clients enhance and improve their lives. Let’s face it, you’re also exhausted. Anyone would be after seeing back to back clients on a daily basis. Here are 10 creative ways you can create a passive income in your virtual private practice, so you don’t have to burn yourself out doing what you love.
Create Online Courses
Many people create online courses and sell them! You can learn anything from cooking to how to play an instrument. If you have a personalized technique or skill that you teach your clients and see success with, you can make it into a course. With courses you teach a step or certain parts of the skill. The great thing is you can record, edit, and sell it. You only have to do it once. Afterwards you can post it to your site and then market it.
Create a bootcamp series
This is a similar idea to the course, however, it’s multiple courses in one. So imagine you want to teach members of your site how to have a full reset in a weekend and you want to teach self-care, goal writing, and how to make vision boards. That can be packaged into three days one weekend. You could teach live the first time, record it, and then later sell as courses.
Offer Coaching Services
If you are a licensed professional, you already have the skills to be a life coach. It is a heavily saturated field, so you’ll have to niche down and focus on something specific. Maybe you excel at parenting skills, or perhaps you want to work with other therapist. Whatever your niche, coaching online offers you more flexibility. Your focus would be more on implementing and refocusing rather than processing and sifting through the past. Subscription boxes are curated boxes shipped once a month to subscribers. The items inside vary from company to company. People love the convenience as well as receiving something in the mail. Imagine sending subscribers a self-esteem box, with items that help them shift their self-esteem. Or a self-care box that helps them engage in more self-care on a monthly basis. The possibilities are endless in this area.
Create a Physical Product
You can put the phrase you are known for on a T-shirt or create affirmation cards. There are many options when it comes to creating a physical products. Ethically you cannot make it a requirement of your services, however if people want access to your services but, are not able to purchase yet, you can still offer something that may be useful with a physical product.
