I’ve been a Licensed Therapist for over 12 years, and like many in our field, I once struggled with burnout and the pressures of traditional therapy settings. Two years post-graduation, I realized that the path I was on wouldn’t allow me to achieve the balanced, fulfilling career I envisioned.
That realization led me to explore alternative ways to leverage my skills, starting with launching a blog, Delightfulstruggles.com. Over time, I built a full-time private practice and a career that reflects my values and goals.
Now, I help therapists create connected, purposeful, and prosperous careers, sharing the steps and strategies I’ve used to build a life and business I love.
Things became crystal clear when I didn’t have to ask permission to pick up my daughter from school when childcare hours changed, I just did it.
But with that freedom came a new challenge: ensuring my business could not only sustain but thrive. I realized I wasn’t just a therapist anymore, I was a practice owner. And running a successful practice would take more than just therapeutic skills.
